Solution for Disposing of Nuclear Waste from Reactors

When a government no longer supports the will of the people we the people should have an opportunity to remove them from office without going through a sideshow like impeachment (remember Clinton). Not only with governments but with the real source of the decision making groups as well, special interest, government lobbyist, and families that think they own the world . We need to take some drastic action now or face more calamities such as the (Japanese Nuclear Reactors) in the near future. Corporations that dominate our government with their sphere of influence always get what they want, why not the people. Who is going to clean up this mess? Corporation like GE, Chevron, BP, etc. continue to wreak havoc on the resources we humans depend on for our daily lives and never pay the piper, (they do in $ but this hardly fixes anything). Just because they put up a commercial or two stating they are for the protection of humanity and the environment does not cut it, their actions speak volumes when catastrophes occur. They always leave it to the local government, and the people to fix the situation. Also, the officers of these corporation never spend a moment in prison for their negligence. I have not heard of Exxon executives spending time in jail, or Union Carbide after (Bhopal Disaster). What will it take to get the powers that be to start looking at the earth in a more realistic manner? How many yachts, mansions, cars, do you need to show off before you decide that more is not always going to bring you contentment or happiness if that is what you are after? Is this why they need the big salaries for and the Hell with trying to be accountable to the world populace.

After the Japan Nuclear Reactor fiasco our species is heading toward disaster. Forget about saving the planet, it will continue to circle the galaxies for years and has been for billions thus far. To think we could save the planet is foolish thinking, it will take care of itself and us along with it at some point in time. What we should be focusing on is ending these WARS and getting back to letting real humans return to a real level of self-sufficiency. Right now Japan is going through so much turmoil because they lack a lot of the resources necessary to survive this disaster without outside assistance. What we created with Nuclear Technology was a means to destroy our species and the environment we depend on. How is it that we have spent Trillions over the past 10 years on WARS but have not figured out how to dispose of the waste fuel from these reactors. We have tons of this stuff from all nations that use this technology and none of them have provided a way get rid of it so they store it in costly bunkers or on top of the current reactors. Now this is just plain brilliant. I propose that until we figure out how to use the waste material from the reactors all new projects stop (Germany seems to agree). Maybe we can offer a prize to the first country that comes up with a solution. Come on folks, use your best and brightest individuals to get this done. Instead of doing a golf outing or race with your yacht think of it as a race for human survival if you are inclined. What else is so pressing these days! Oh yea, bombing another country and removing one our despots again. So, now we also have a way to create many jobs as well. The Manhattan project to create a nuclear bomb involved a huge group of scientist, engineers, skilled labor, administrators, etc. so why can't the same thing be done for a solution to dispose of the nuclear waste?

Here is my suggestions,

Take the nuclear fissile material to the bunkers that our military has been building over the course of several years for the ruling elite and place the product in them. Then when the shit hits the fan the elite can sleep next to the stuff during their stay in the bowels of hell for a few years. Hopefully they put them in a container that can withstand an earthquake and is able to contain the radiation, because otherwise they may get a taste of what the rest of us will be going through.
