Best motivation for all humanity, is to listen to this speech and share it.

As we come into 2014 I feel it is time to reflect on our current geo-political state.  For many, life has become a little tougher and our ruling elite have not taken any action to resolve major issues except to keep us entertained.  I can assert with impunity that it will be human ignorance and lack of common sense which will bring forward a new world order.  Has any world leadership taken note of Fukushima and proposed a massive amount of resources are needed to fix this calamity?  The ruling factions keep pushing for more Wrongfully Acquiring Resources (WARs) than developing solutions to stem the tide of human impact on our home called earth.  What will it take to change the mindset of our UN-elected leaders in the banking, government, military, and special interest to show them it is pure insanity to continue the status-quot?  I guess they do not concern themselves with these issues because they have their bunkers, yachts, and islands to run away to when the shit hits the fan.  Well if they think natural and man-made catastrophes will not impact them they are more ignorant than the fools that came before them.

Here is an intellectuals view for 2014 Chomsky.  He is way behind what has been foreseen years ago by others with more wisdom and intelligence.  Like many current soothsayers they are not changing anything but reiterating what was said by true humans years ago.

Best wishes to all for the new year and may we see things change for the better in 2014.

The Great Dictator's Speech

I’m sorry, but I don’t want to be an emperor. That’s not my business. I don’t want to rule or conquer anyone. I should like to help everyone - if possible - Jew, Gentile - black man - white. We all want to help one another. Human beings are like that. We want to live by each other’s happiness - not by each other’s misery. We don’t want to hate and despise one another. In this world there is room for everyone. And the good earth is rich and can provide for everyone. The way of life can be free and beautiful, but we have lost the way.

Greed has poisoned men’s souls, has barricaded the world with hate, has goose-stepped us into misery and bloodshed. We have developed speed, but we have shut ourselves in. Machinery that gives abundance has left us in want. Our knowledge has made us cynical. Our cleverness, hard and unkind. We think too much and feel too little. More than machinery we need humanity. More than cleverness we need kindness and gentleness. Without these qualities, life will be violent and all will be lost....

The aeroplane and the radio have brought us closer together. The very nature of these inventions cries out for the goodness in men - cries out for universal brotherhood - for the unity of us all. Even now my voice is reaching millions throughout the world - millions of despairing men, women, and little children - victims of a system that makes men torture and imprison innocent people.

To those who can hear me, I say - do not despair. The misery that is now upon us is but the passing of greed - the bitterness of men who fear the way of human progress. The hate of men will pass, and dictators die, and the power they took from the people will return to the people. And so long as men die, liberty will never perish. .....

Soldiers! don’t give yourselves to brutes - men who despise you - enslave you - who regiment your lives - tell you what to do - what to think and what to feel! Who drill you - diet you - treat you like cattle, use you as cannon fodder. Don’t give yourselves to these unnatural men - machine men with machine minds and machine hearts! You are not machines! You are not cattle! You are men! You have the love of humanity in your hearts! You don’t hate! Only the unloved hate - the unloved and the unnatural! Soldiers! Don’t fight for slavery! Fight for liberty!

In the 17th Chapter of St Luke it is written: “the Kingdom of God is within man” - not one man nor a group of men, but in all men! In you! You, the people have the power - the power to create machines. The power to create happiness! You, the people, have the power to make this life free and beautiful, to make this life a wonderful adventure.

Then - in the name of democracy - let us use that power - let us all unite. Let us fight for a new world - a decent world that will give men a chance to work - that will give youth a future and old age a security. By the promise of these things, brutes have risen to power. But they lie! They do not fulfil that promise. They never will!

Dictators free themselves but they enslave the people! Now let us fight to fulfil that promise! Let us fight to free the world - to do away with national barriers - to do away with greed, with hate and intolerance. Let us fight for a world of reason, a world where science and progress will lead to all men’s happiness.

Soldiers! in the name of democracy, let us all unite!

Want to save a few trillion in government spending? Start here!

It is a shame we have created an entity within the United States that appears to forget that the trillions that are being spent undermines the country itself.  They spend and provide nothing to our infrastructure and economy unless you are one of the preferred contractors.  How is it that we can reduce Social Security and Medicare which people paid into and can use rather than a new fighter jet that is obsolete as soon as its finished?  What a crazy system!

Less we forget this happened before 9/11.

Homage to Douglas Engelbart

One of the best eulogies I have ever heard in respect to Douglas Engelbart. May he rest in peace knowing how well he was remembered and will not be forgotten by those who knew him.

Philosophy of Truth

When we can prove with utmost certainty this statement from Mother Teresa will be our place in the new world dynamics our futures will be left to the whims of the unknowing. They will gain profits and power by providing nothing to the masses yet benefit from their toil. A truly despotic world to live in for the 99% don't you think?

We, the unwilling, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have done so much, for so long, with so little, we are now qualified to do anything with nothing.
- Mother Teresa

You need to know this. Sixty-five years ago, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was signed. The Declaration was drafted by the United Nations, and chaired by First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt. The goal of the Declaration was to strive for "inherent dignity" and "equal and inalienable rights [for] all members of the human family." But, many people in our nation are being denied these basic human rights. Wealth inequality and inhumane austerity measures have benefited the wealthy, while denying most of us an equal chance at a life of dignity. Poverty wages, staggering student loan debt, the foreclosure crisis, and the slashing of our social safety net – have all left the super rich unharmed, while weakening our universal human rights to own property, escape servitude, and experience real freedom. We cannot be truly free when we are fighting for basic necessities, or trapped in an abusive job just so that we can pay our student loans. To make matters worse, disastrous free trade agreements and fiscal legislation have locked in low tax rates for the wealthy and cemented these inhumane policies in place for the future. These basic rights were bestowed upon us by our Fore Fathers, and confirmed again in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, yet they have been eroded, and they continue to get weakened every day. And, the fight to regain these inalienable rights will not be easy. Americans must recognize that their basic human rights are being taken away, and that they deserve to be free from crushing debt and poverty wages. We must work together to prove that the words "Life, Liberty, and Pursuit of Happiness" were not just poetry, but basic human rights that we deserve.

How come our Leaders do not seek peace over conflict?

President Kennedy should be counted as a man who could have made a big difference if he were allowed to continue to persue Peace over War.

RIP President John F. Kennedy a man who gave his life in the pursuit of peace.
